Remove batteries before commencing!
Step 1> Align the tracker module with one of the 'Quarter' (Qtr) modules as shown.

Step 2> Clip in the plastic bric.
Note> This will only go on one way also make sure the Line Tracker Module is the correct way up.

Step 3> Press the three 14mm spacers into the bric.
Tip> This is a tight fit, so you may want to use the supplied screwdriver to help push them in all the way.

Step 4> Tighten the 3 screws firmly.
Note> If any of these screws are not firmly tightened the line tracker will not work.

Step 5> Push on the second bric as shown.
Note> You must put this on the correct way around. See image before attaching.
Correct Incorrect

Note> Whenever nuts or spacers are inserted into a bric the rounded ends must protrude as shown.

Step 6> Attach the line tracker assembly to the motherboard.
Note> If the top bric has been attached to the spacers incorrectly the line tracker assembly will not attach. If this is the case remove the top bric from the spacers and reattach the other way around (see step 5)
Correct Incorrect

Step 7> Attach the top 'Quarter' (Qtr) module and tighten the remaining 3 screws firmly.
Note> If any of these screws are not firmly tightened the line tracker will not work.

How your i-bot should look now.

I-BOT now behaves as a line following robot – Place on the activity mat and watch it go! To stop, remove the batteries.
